QUARTET NIGHT with Chubby, Motherly-type Reader

"Can I request a Starish or Quartet Night with a Chubby motherly reader?? ( platonic if you could do that! ) :3 I hope to see more of UtaPri since I recently got into the anime!"

My first request! I am elated. I hope you enjoy the series… The movies are very good as well! I decided to write for QUARTET NIGHT only, I hope that's okay.

When it comes to AI, he's the one that seems the most mature and organised of all, but he can still be childish in certain situations. Although reticent at first, a motherly-type of friend would help Ai to regulate himself better - he tends to get obsessive over things he likes and regularly loses sleep doing stuff like practising music or online gaming, so I believe someone who would remind him to take breaks or just stop and relax would help him to manage his free time better. He would find it a bit distracting at first, but with time he would understand that it is what's best for him and become thankful for the small caring gestures of this friend.

It's not something that everybody knows and even less people would know how to deal with it, but he was extremely confused once he overheated and this friend tried their best to help him with it. Following instructions without prying or asking for reasons as to why - merely helping out of worry for his well being, was something he had not really experienced many times before. Although this friend would not force him to tell any of his past if he didn't want to, I feel Ai would eventually tell them about his nature once he felt a bit more comfortable with it.

Once he gets close to this friend, they would be the first person he would call when he wanted to discuss his thoughts and discoveries about feelings, people, and the like. He has the bad habit of doing so late at night, though, so sometimes he still gets scolded about it…

For RANMARU, he would be very pissed off at first. If this friend is a woman - well, he doesn't do very well with women to begin with, even less with ones that tell him what to do. Little by little he would come to accept it, rather than admit that he appreciates it, and come to expect a warm blanket over him once he wakes up from a nap, or a small snack next to him, rather than complain about it.

It might be out of respect or to avoid being scolded, but whenever this friend is present, he tries his best not to use overly aggressive language and be AT LEAST a little polite; if he catches himself being too rude, he would quickly look at his friend as if trying to see if he has been caught and about to be called out. He might even call them by their last name if they preferred (no honorifics, though!).

Once he and this friend become closer, I think he would be the type that would enjoy just plain hanging out, no need to talk deep or become too sentimental. He would invite them over to his flat for drinks (which would have this friend bring him some plants or knick knacks, his apartment is so empty!), and might even accept help with dyeing his hair once the roots start to show again.

Similar to Ranmaru, CAMUS would first find it a nuisance. Who were them to tell him what to do and how to act? Of course in front of other people he would be cordial and sweet, but on their own when there's no cameras around, Camus would not be very welcoming to that kind of behaviour. Rather than think of it as someone taking care of him, he would see it as someone looking down on him, as a lot of people did back in the Silk Palace.

This friend manages to get closer to Camus by making a good cup of tea and bringing some nice sweets. He would begrudgingly accept the brewing as acceptable, no matter how amazing it is, and would drink it in silence. Once he sees that this friend is not drinking tea, or eating the snacks themselves but rather serving them to him, he would say something alike to how it's not polite to stand while someone else was eating - a sneaky way to invite them to sit as well (maybe after feeling guilty because of his harsh words and treatment).

He doesn't want to assume anything related to eating habits given his friend's weight and he's unsure if the question would come as too intrusive or offensive, so he would come up with a roundabout way of finding if this friend had any snack preferences. He would pretend he just bought some, and ask if they would be willing to share over a cup of tea, or come up with an excuse to invite this friend to a shop he's been meaning to check himself.

One has to be careful, though, as dealing with Camus is quite tricky. He does not appreciate when people act (in his eyes), as if they know better than him. Still, he would accept once in a while for this friend to warn him to stop eating so much sugar at once, or casually help him calm down if he gets too angry at something in particular.

Finally, with REIJI, it would be a bit of a tug of war at first. He's the one that acts like an elder brother to the rest of QUARTET NIGHT and STARISH (or anything younger than him, really) so he tends to take the role of caretaker most of the time. At first it would confuse him, and he wouldn't really know how to react - he's not used to being the one being taken care of.

He would learn to appreciate it, though he would pass it as a joke as he tends to do. He would comment something about this friend being "reichan-senpai's senpai! so you better behave!". If this person is good enough at reading people OR has gotten close enough to Reiji, he would cherish those moments where his friend asked him for menial things as a way to distract him when his mood grew sadder as it tends to do at times.

If he got close enough to this friend to talk about it, he would open up about his weight as well. Although he doesn't want to assume either, he knows people can be overly judgemental about it, even more in his line of work, and would see this person as a safe space to talk. He's good at cooking and his family runs a bento shop so he's a good eater, and although he is pretty athletic, he is not as skinny as most people would expect an idol to be - pairing with his height, he has become a bit insecure about it. Even if he doesn't like when people fight, let alone fight for his sake, he can't help but feel a bit glad when this friend stands up to him after Ai called him overweight once.

He would try to pay this friend back on his own way, that being by his cooking or inviting them out for a ride, to show his appreciation as well. It's a constant battle of out-parenting each other!

I guess my BG3 custom character headcanon could be de-canonized in game, but I doubt it, so here's one for my Tav/Larissa:

She loves magic. She always has. Her parents are both spellcasters (her father a less-obnoxious-than-usual sun elf, her mother a human sorcerer) and she grew up with magic all around her. She's longed to have magical power for as long as she can remember.

...but she's also always been bad at it. Really bad. After years of practice with her father, she managed to learn exactly one(1) cantrip—and while the ability to summon fire felt like a great achievement at the time, she couldn't do anything else no matter how hard she studied, how much she learned, how much she practiced.

But her fascinated study of magic and its lore took on an increasingly spiritual awe, and she developed an intense devotion to Mystra, goddess of magic. She swore herself to Mystra's service and as one of her priests, worked steadily towards greater knowledge, greater understanding of the mysteries of the world, greater preservation of magical lore, and over time, Larissa became one of the sages at her temple.

And she still sucked at magic.

She's personally kind and caring, if a little abrupt, but at heart, she longed to be acknowledged as one of the most devoted, most respected, most learned, most favored of Mystra's priests. Yet her near-total lack of facility with magic made it clear to her that she was not particularly favored.

Still, she continued to faithfully serve her goddess—and a year before the BG3 story begins, Mystra herself appeared to her in a dream and granted Larissa her blessing.

Larissa wasn't sure what that would mean until she woke to light flickering around her hands—and a distant sense of approval and power. She still can't use magic the way her parents can, can't feel the Weave properly: but when she prays, Mystra answers. In her thirty-nine years, Larissa has never felt anything to compare with the sensation of divine power flowing through her, and her devotion to Mystra has never been stronger.

I’m a sucker for Good Dad Splinter ever since I watched TMNT ‘03. That rat was gifted sapience and his immediate instinct was kindness. I love that for him.

Rise Splinter lived a rollercoaster of a life, but as a Hollywood star he remembered the names of all his stunt guys and coworkers, and as a prisoner he cared for the rat that shared his cell. His sons are very close and physically affectionate, I think that says something about how he cares? That’s just how I like to headcanon him :)

Can we get a Ren / Camus x Male reader whose much more of a Flirt/Romantic than they are?? Just imagining them being flustered whenever M!reader flirts with them or like suddenly princess carries them 🥺🥺

Uwaa… As a male reader who loves both Ren and Camus, this makes me extremely happy. I'm always glad to add more pronoun and gender variety for written things, as I know for a fact that we get very little. I hope people enjoy this as well!

Ren and Camus with a Flirty Male Reader

Ren at first would be nonchalant about it, not quite realising that it is actually serious flirting - not because of any ill thought or something similar, but he's too used to that rich people environment of constant friendly and often-not-so-friendly spoken competition. He would take it very light-heartedly and have fun trying to one-up the other guy with flirting as well, and would probably establish a friendship with him before Ren even realises that the other is interested in him properly.

He is often surrounded by girls anyway, and sometimes the girls do love when two handsome men flirt with each other. Ren would probably realise it on his own given enough time, but for a bit he would think of it as a tactic to woo women. But as this guy is a direct one, he might just tell Ren directly about his intentions anyway.

It would be the first time Ren would be left truly speechless, and he might even need a bit of time to get his thoughts in order, but he would soon recover and come back with even more seduction tactics. Now he truly cannot be the one that admits defeat first! Down the line, they'll probably both call a truce and actually start going out, and their flirtatious quips would probably evolve to a little couple's game where they try their best to embarrass the other with their words.

"Woah, tiger," Ren would laugh during one of those times where they were both alone, yet still kept their little game going even if there was no audience to squeel at their back and forth, "Careful, you might even end up making me fall for you."

The other would smile, giving Ren a short look and winking, and as relaxed and shameless as he always was, "Well, that's what I've been trying to do the whole time."

Camus is a whole other can of worms. When in public with other people - that is to say, when acting as his sweet idol persona, he would probably kindly laugh it off with a Thank you and a small compliment to the other. He might even do some light flirting if together in a variety show or a radio collaboration, as he is an idol after all and knows what the people are likely to talk about and bring more attention to his work.

When the two of them are alone together, though, he would probably chew the other guy out, telling him how he didn't need some random guy let alone a peasant to throw empty words at him for whatever useless reason. Back in his tumultuous time with the monarchy of his home country, someone who flirted so openly with another like that, even more if it was a man, could be nothing more than a liar or a conman.

Still, warm words and kind intentions would melt his icy heart little by little. Although not very welcoming to extreme flirtatious gestures like Ren would be, he can appreciate a simple back-and-forth, or an small action that shows that the other guy remembers about him and actually cares. His suitor just needs to build a space in which Camus can grow to feel that it is safe to open up.

It would take a long time before Camus even comes close to admitting it to himself, but he would soon start to look forward to the short moments where they were alone together in the break room or company building (not that he would ever tell his suitor that, even if he succeeds).

"What is it that you are trying to do," He would say, scowl clear on his face as he takes a sip of his tea, "with all this useless flattery?"

Camus is not one to feel confused often, so this whole situation would put him in an even worse mood than usual. He would try his best to keep his angry face steady, not even risking looking at the other.

But the other would simply shrug, calm and honest and open as a book, "I meant it when I said that I wanted to know you better."

And after Lae'zel, Astarion wanted to chat with Larissa. Or "chat." Or perhaps actually chat. Hard to say, really.

He was worrying (maybe?) that their adventure together might be ending soon, once they find Halsin, and Larissa, ever oblivious, was like ... well, we can still travel together, I don't see the problem.

Astarion:

[Good! I don't want you to run off just yet.]

His tone was very flirty and he'd posed himself like this:

Larissa was immediately suspicious, I think in part because he dials things up so fast that it is very suspicious, and in part because she's spent at least the last ten years as a temple priestess profoundly fixated on her goddess.

(I don't imagine Larissa's order as celibate, but Astarion-style flirtation is definitely not how they approach their affairs, and in any case, Larissa herself has been celibate and largely disinterested in changing that for a long time. She's friendly enough but a bit distant from the other priests, she's a temple sage, this is just not something that usually happens to her.)

Then Astarion gave her a bunch of compliments about everything she's survived so far. Larissa doesn't have much of a brain to mouth filter, so I figured she'd bluntly say exactly what she thinks:

Astarion got up (as seductively as possible) and

[Astarion: You have your charms... more than you think.]

Larissa has high wisdom, decently high intelligence, and little personal charm, so at this point I was pretty sure she'd be on red alert. The game agreed!

Larissa is Larissa, so she wasn't subtle:

Astarion just sort of pouted (or pretended to?), said she was no fun, told her to sleep tight, and said he was sure he'd see her later.

Well, that was weird.

Even knowing he's a vampire (duh) and has a lot going on, Larissa's just "...?????????" and shares all of Gale's reservations. Gale is one of the only people who didn't have anything particular to say, but I suspect "what the fuck is Astarion's deal, we just had the weirdest conversation" gossip is one of the things they bond over.

actor! toji fushiguro thoughts 💭

actor toji would be one of those hot dilf actors that women would always be drooling over, edits of him always popping up on your fyp, the most outta pocket comments underneath all of his insta posts, he would be the number 1 dilf for all the old man fuckers.

toji rarely posts on social media. he’s at that age where he just does not care to post his whole life online, but that only attracts people to him more because he is so mysterious. he would have like 10 million followers and only follow 12 people (including you)

toji would probably be one of those actors that have no variety in their roles, but everybody would still eat it up anyways. toji as an actor would typically play a villain/antagonist or an anti-hero, typically in an action movie/series and he plays them well. toji can embody an intimidating, frightening, intelligent villain very well. he could be cast as one of the most horrendous, horrible villains and be a menace towards the main cast but because he looks like that, he is forgiven.

but there are those rare times toji is casted as a father or father figure and his character would do anything for their daughter and everyone just loses it. he plays the father role well, almost too well. he is so caring, protective and sweet towards the actress playing as his daughter, even behind the scene clips with one another, he is just so gentle and dreamy. the fans cannot handle it!

during interviews, toji can be charming. he cracks jokes and he answers questions honestly, even if they make him look unprofessional. he really does not give a fuck about that, which only makes him even more attractive. he’s a little sleazy sometimes, but that just adds to his lazy effortless appeal.

he just has such a dominant personality and not in a bad way either. like if an interviewer asked a question that made a cast member uncomfortable, he would smoothly change the subject and the mood, making everyone forget about it entirely. also, his stare is really intense…like when the interviewer or a fellow cast member is speaking, he makes sure to look at them and listen really closely, not even realising how intimidating that could be 😭

despite his unprofessional personality and wealthy background, people who work with toji cannot say anything bad about him. he is a great actor with great work ethic and is always respectful to his cast members. and most of all, he is humble. due to his background and accomplishments, other actors on set expect him to be all flashy and all head in the clouds, but toji isn’t like that. toji is very aware and down to earth and he doesn’t see himself as superior because of his wealth. he sees what that power does to some people (his family) and he wants nothing not do with it.

overall, for the most part, toji is a respected actor, with a loyal (albeit crazy) fanbase, he actually enjoys his job and lives a relatively private and quiet life. people barely know anything despite his wealth and fame and prefers to keep it that way.

So apparently most people don’t get only four hours of sleep average. Who knew?

Based on real conversation I had with myself lol. Literally my roommates suggested and medical professionals told me I had insomnia, and I was like “naw, I can sleep sometimes, surely that’s normal!” until I was drawing at 2:00am and it finally sunk in while I was listening to a podcast about it.

Must be nice to be a turtle living rent free in the sewers, able to take 2pm naps whenever and stay up till dawn. I love walking around when it’s dark, but it’s harder to do that in a city rather than on a farm! In the night you can see everything awash in silver from the moon, and the shadows are rich in color, the stars a direct parallel to the fireflies sparkling in the trees. The mist over the early morning fields is also so pretty, especially when the spiderwebs in the grass catch the dew :)

The city holds its own beauty at night. The hushed wind of a lone car as it passes by to places unknown, the shimmer of streetlights on cool pavement, the warm lights of distant windows reminding me that every inch of this place is full of life and people living their own stories.
